HRH The Duke of Kent KG, arrived Friday morning on the 9th November 2007, to formally open the new Hospice of St Francis. During his visit he was introduced to both the staff and patients. Following a short presentation and speech he then unveiled the plaque stating

"The new Hospice of St Francis was formally opened by

HRH The Duke of Kent KG

on 9th November 2007"
